As summer is nearing it's end here at the Reel to Reel Drive-In we are as excited as we've ever been. Although we were not able to be open this year we have been pushing forward at a feverish pace. We have been working on every detail of the Drive-in. We have continued to look for the most competitive contractors. We have still been accepting new investors.
We have been working harder then ever to make the Drive-in a reality.

Well we hope that everyone made it through the storm alright. This rain storm is just another in a long series of storms that have caused record rainfall. This has affected our ability to have the grating done on the 8 acres of property. We have received the building permits for the screen and concession stand.

We are moving the opening date until Spring of next year. We feel that the drive-in would not be 100% this year. We will be spending the remainder of the year preparing for our opening in the Spring. This year you will see the construction starting next week on the first part of the project, a silt fence around the property.
We would like to thank everyone for their continued support. The Reel to Reel Drive-In Theater in Davenport, Iowa would not be possible without you all. We are still just as excited to start showing movies as we were when we started this project. We still plan to offer a top notch drive-in theater experience. Now with seven months or more of extra time to really make our theater shine.

We know that many of you are just as excited as we are to go to the drive-in. As the rain seems to have subsided for now our land is drying out. We are finalizing the building permits, and are almost ready to break ground.

The Reel to Reel Drive In Theater everyday is coming closer and closer to a big premier. We are going to have a big announcement coming very soon.
